Angel Tree Christmas

Angel Tree Christmas is an initiative of Prison Fellowship of Canada (PFC) to connect church communities and individuals with the families of prisoners through the delivery of a Christmas gift on behalf of the incarcerated parent. Through this program, children not only receive a gift under the tree at Christmas but maintain connections and bonds with their incarcerated parent.

Fairview Church is delighted to partner with PFC on the Angel Tree Christmas project. This is possible through the generous gesture of Mom N’ Me Cards to channel all proceeds from sales of these beautiful, handcrafted cards towards the Angel Tree Christmas Project. Mom N’ Me carry cards for all seasons and events. These cards will be available at church every first Sunday from September to December.

Mom N’ Me Cards are creations born from the joyful moments Anushka and her mom spend together. Anushka is a young adult with Down syndrome and has a boundless love for everyone around her. Participating in this creative process has not only resulted in visually appealing products but has also allowed her to share her joy and spirit with others.

By purchasing a card, you not only sharing a heartfelt message with a loved one but also contribute to a meaningful cause. Join us in spreading the joy of Christmas and making a difference in the lives of these families. For more information on purchasing Mom N’ Me Cards, please contact us

North York Harvest Food Bank

Fairview Church is delighted to continue our ongoing partnership with the North York Harvest Food Bank, dedicated to supporting our community's needs. Every last Sunday of the month, our church family comes together to collect non-perishable canned items and pasta, which are crucial for supporting those facing food insecurity in our area. This initiative is part of our commitment to living out our faith through acts of service and compassion. By contributing to the food drive, we help ensure that everyone has access to nutritious food. We invite you to join us in this important effort by bringing canned goods and pasta to the church every last Sunday.

Partner Testimonial:

“On behalf of thousands who rely on North York Harvest Food Bank each week, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the Fairview Church of God for donating food to support our community.

At a time when we saw unprecedented growth in the need for emergency food in our community, with more than 25,000 households visiting our network each month, your help makes it possible for us to sustain our services.

The community relies on North York Harvest to put food on their table and we are truly grateful to be able to have your support. Simply put, if it wasn't for supporters like Fairview Church of God, we wouldn't be able to help those in need."
