Fairview Church Of God is seeking a Senior Pastor to transition with our current pastor to lead our congregation.
Congregational Profile
• Congregation started in 1979; current leadership is one of the founding pastors: Rev. Roger Bitner
• We have operated out of the same leased church facility since inception; average Sunday
attendance during the past 14 months is 80 (Virtual Services via Zoom conducted during Covid);
• Sanctuary seats 250 people; Sunday school space for 50 people; Parking space for 40 cars.
• Situated in North-York, Toronto; Don Mills area: growing demographic, multi-ethnic community
• Fairview is an inter-generational church with youth programs, Sunday School, Adult Bible Studies
and Fellowship
• Congregation consists of people originally from Sri Lanka, Guyana, Iran, West Indies, India,
Mexico, Philippines, Indonesia, China, United States, and Canada
• We support missions in Sri Lanka, Uganda, Asia, Haiti, and other current needs around the world
as well as home missions
• Largely university educated congregants
